We Win

Attention citizens of the National League Eastern Division: You have a new champion.
There isn't a combination of Phillie or Marlin or Brave or National wins that adds to a hill of beans now. They can't touch us in 2006. We win.
It is fricking remarkable that we haven't been able to say that since 1988. Back [...]

We Win

Attention citizens of the National League Eastern Division: You have a new champion.

There isn’t a combination of Phillie or Marlin or Brave or National wins that adds to a hill of beans now. They can’t touch us in 2006. We win.

It is fricking remarkable that we haven’t been able to say that since 1988. Back [...]

Rock and Roll

It's been a long time since I rock and rolled,
It's been a long time since I did the stroll.
Ooh, let me get it back, let me get it back, let me get it back,
Baby where I come from.
It's been a long time, been a long time,
Been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time.
I didn't [...]

Front Runners, At Last

After 18 seasons, Faith has trumped Fear. FAFIF’s own Jason and Greg enjoy the 2006 National League Eastern Division title just moments before earned by your 2006 National League Eastern Division Champion New York Mets. Note my exceedingly rare 1976 Bicentennial-model Mets cap, rarer still Brooklyn Cyclones quasi-forerunner Queens Kings t-shirt from their only campaign [...]

Mr. Met Loves to Redecorate

He’s got a hammer. And he’s got some nails. Now he has a divisional championship banner to affix above the rightfield wall. Mr. Met is enjoying this first stage of his extreme Shea makeover.

As In We're No. 1!

Mr. Met knows the score. We’re No. 1!

The Faith and Fear Magic Number Countdown was a 2006 Production of Zed Duck Studios.
