Ripken in. Gwynn in. Gossage close. McGwire nowhere in sight. Those are the headlines from the 2007 Hall of Fame election. The parochial nuggets are neither Ripken at 98.5% of the vote nor Gwynn at 97.6% matched Tom Seaver’s 98.84% from 1992 (yay!) and that Bobby Bonilla, due presumably to a shaking hand and a pair [...] Ripken in.
