This isĀ Willie Mays of the New York Mets as captured by Topps for 1973. I still can’t believe he played for us. Based on content, I think this is my favorite card ever.
I look at that Topps as a thank you card to NY and the baseball world..He bridges the generations. It was well fitting that he honor the orange NY once more!
