I understand it’s all about putting the best team on the field you possibly can. But you gotta feel for Omir. He just went from probably the starting catcher on opening day – and now with the Rod signing – well, who knows what?
And Jerry throwing him under the bus the other day with the ‘we’ll go with Omir, if we have to’ comment, probably doesn’t do much for his confidence.

If we do see Omir later in the season due to injury (biting my tongue on that), I hope he shows some flashes of why they decided to keep him last year and trade Castro…..
