Greg Prince and Jason Fry
Faith and Fear in Flushing made its debut on Feb. 16, 2005, the brainchild of two longtime friends and lifelong Met fans.

Greg Prince discovered the Mets when he was 6, during the magical summer of 1969. He is a Long Island-based writer, editor and communications consultant. Contact him here.

Jason Fry is a Brooklyn writer whose first memories include his mom leaping up and down cheering for Rusty Staub. Check out his other writing here.

Quick In-Game Thought

Any way we can get Nyjer Morgan to turn his wrath on Willie Harris?

A Greg post in under 5000 words? As rare as a Mets grand slam.

Can we trade for Nyjer Morgan? We saw more fire and intensity from him last week than we have from the entire Mets organization has shown in 20 years. Blowing up catchers, stealing bases because he was pissed, charging the mound instead of meekly taking a base, making tough-guy gestures…

I don’t care if he’s crazy. Or that on the whole, he’s not really that good at baseball.
