Crap! Forgot to set my DVR. I would love to highlight “Mets Yearbook” and choose “record series”–but it's not a series. Each is its own special. Annoying.
That's the life of a Met fan I guess. Now matter how much good there is in something, we seem to find the bad. There could be a promotion at CitiField called “everyone gets 99 bucks cash for being good fans” and we'd complain it wasn't 100. Most of us, anyway.
Rebroadcasts scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 PM and Sunday at 6:00 PM. No new ep next week (Thanksgiving) but there's an all-day marathon of 1969 World Series games, even Game One.
Hey now! My girlfriend got home early and hit record for me! She's a keeper for sure. Great show. Made me miss Shea. Call me crazy, but the Shea crowd had a certain buzz about it when the Mets had their renaissances, didn't it?
And hey, let's not forget the highlight of the show: Calvin Schiraldi!
